Professor Joseph completed his specialist training in Radiation Oncology at Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne.
Professor Joseph is an Academic Oncologist with over 10 years’ experience as Director of the cancer division at Perth’s Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and a further 13 years as Director of Radiation Oncology. He is currently a professor at University of Western Australia and Edith Cowan University.
Professor Joseph was a founder of the Trans-Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG); a Cancer Research group that has been improving the way in which Radiotherapy is delivered to cancer patients for almost 30 years and he has been a board member of this group and Chair of TROG, ANZBCTG, AGITG and COGNO.
Professor Joseph has over 20 years’ experience in Stereotactic Radiosurgery, 500 publications in peer review literatures and has been the Chair of national and international clinical trials.
Professor Joseph has major Research interests in Prostate cancer, Breast cancer, CNS malignancy, Molecular Oncology, Exercise and Brachytherapy and Intraoperative Radiotherapy.
