Dr Khialani is an Interventional Cardiologist and Perioperative Physician with interests in all aspects of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease. He is passionate about ischaemic heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, percutaneous coronary intervention and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), as well as the optimisation of patients through cardiac and non-cardiac surgery.
Dr Khialani trained in Melbourne with an overseas Interventional Fellowship in Cambridge UK at the Royal Papworth Hospital. He has had extensive experienced in complex coronary stenting predominantly through the radial (wrist) approach, FFR and intracoronary imaging, alcohol septal ablation for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). Dr Khialani has a Master of Public Health and Master of Medicine in Perioperative Medicine and is well-versed in the perioperative management of patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery.
